Great design is not just a solution, it is the elimination of the problem.
Onur Cobanli explains:
The design is a skill that brings a set of procedures and mental tools together such as research, trial and error exploration, guessing, engineering, art and more. Design process requires diligence and time investment, but it can be divided into small parts and therefore is not mysterious even though designers mostly wish to market design as such; this whole thing makes designers themselves mysterious. Designers want their process to be mysterious so that no one else could replicate and therefore compete with them.
