I say this literally and figuratively. Literally, with good design, it is possible that one day we will be all immortals thanks to advancement in science and technology. That being said, from another perspective if you wish your name to be remembered as a designer, you better put your greatest effort. From yet another perspective, you must have good designs that respect the environment and society, because if you take good care of the environment and the society, your chances of continued survival is higher; you survive longer as a species if you do not destroy your environment, your immortality as a species is ensured through good design.
