You cannot have good design without passion because good design is hard, it requires attention to detail, research and understanding of needs, market and technologies; and these are things that you need to be up to date about; sure you can learn about how to make good design once, but over time new technologies arise, market and needs change, and to be updated to be up to date, you must learn continuously and this continuous learning requires one to have passion to consistently spare your precious and little time. Continual evolution and excellence in design can only be fueled by genuine passion, which drives ongoing learning, adaptation, and innovation.
