It is true that what we experience is a source of our creativity; who travels, sees, interacts or reads more has more significant memories and could therefore a higher potential to create new designs based on such memories, but it is important to seperate creativity and memory; original design is not something you recall from a trip to another country, it is not a device you see in a movie; it should be something new, that perhaps combines fragments of such memories, the original design should come from imagination; interlinking many diverse ideas, rather than a memory.
