Onur Cobanli explains:
Replacing poor design requires a comprehensive approach where the better solution must be well-known, easily available, consistently present, and environmentally responsible. Success depends on both quality and strategic implementation across multiple dimensions. If you are not happy with the current state of art of things, you need to introduce better design to the system because when there is a better example, people abandon the bad towards good, however to replace bad with good, remember that the bad may have economic or power incentives that support its existence or popularity, therefore within this context, this axiom (cure for bad design is good design) only hold true if the good design is known by people (famous) - popularity is required so there is demand by the population, and good design should be within reach (accessible) i.e. not only there should be good distribution but the price should be affordable and also the supply should be able to meet the demand, and there should be constant supply (sustained) and this constant supply should be provided without harming the environment (sustainable).).
