There is a wide misconception that design's solely purpose is to solve physical problems. People nowadays have to realize that design can bring a very important asset to their lives not only on a physical level, but on a mental and spiritual one as well. I think that designers should stress this idea more and more, as design is not only concerned with pragmatic issues such as observation, analysis and technical aspects, but also with not so objective aspects such as inspiration and personal expression.
