A common mistake in design is stopping design development in its early steps; many times, once designers arrive at a satisfactory good design, they would stop iterating their work and move on to their next project, however great design can only be achieved by constant iteration and improvement of already existing good design. Sure, there is a point where it does no longer make sense to iterate, but most designers rarely approach to that point let alone arrive at it. If you have good design, it is worth working more on it, iterating on it until it becomes truly great design.
