Design solves a problem, art points the problem. Art is a cultural expression, in some cases explaining cultural needs or focusing on issues that society consider a taboo or perhaps issues that had not come to mind of any other. Design is different from art, design does not make a political statement as art does, design is about solutions not highlighting of issues unless highlighting the issue is the solution.
