Onur Cobanliexplains:
Designers must be obliged in a noble way to create good. Noblesse oblige, nobility obliges designers to do good. Unlike an artist or an engineer the job of the designer is not to point a problem or come up with a technical solution, design by its definition is to create social value; it is to create products, projects, services and solutions that benefit society. Designers are obliged to do good and they are responsible for their designs.
