The ability to manifest emotions, the ability to appeal to emotions shall be part of good design for humans; if you sell a product to emotional beings, than the design and the product shall respect, attract and amplify these emotions. Emotions are strong ways to make a product valuable. When you simplify your designs, you cannot simplify the emotional aspects, anything that conveys emotion shall indeed be left as is. Good design is emotional because it considers the needs of users as well as their cultures and preferences, it is friendly and it is surprising.
