When normal people daydream, they think of many things, but a designer things what can I do to make the world a better place; and the dream must be reasonable and constrained within limitations of possibilities; it should respect to available technologies (or push technological advancement for sure why not), it should respect the available materials (or push material science to limits), it should respect to social needs (or take a position to define a new genre) but in any cases, it must have a solid ground to support the heavy burden; to make something out of nothing; it must be feasible, and the more a designer knows; the better dreams can be.
