When you take a product, service or offering and make it better, everyone is happy. Better here is about being pareto; you cannot make something truly better if you are making a tradeoff, you need to keep everything same and make a part better, this is Evolution. If you make something better but you say you had to decide and make trade-offs, than what you achieve is a mutation; it can be beneficial to most, but it will hurt some.
