Good Design is usually not an eureka moment; you might have a good inspiration but you need research, engineering, experimentation and will to improve because design is not an artwork that you could finish in a second, it must incorporate in-depth thinking. Good design is not easy, it takes time to do it, and it takes energy to do it, and many designers just give up, they do not keep on trying, they quit. If you want to make good design you need to keep trying.
