Onur Cobanli explains:
Design is perhaps more similar to mathematics than to drawing something; design thrives on logic. Logic can be learned. Logic can be learned early. Design can be thought. Design can be though early. If you teach a child to have a good perspective on design; i.e. teach a child how to do good design at early stages of life; to educate a child on analytical thinking, problem identification, analysis, diagnosis, iteration, experimentation, discovery and synthesis, appreciation of aesthetics and art, then you can grow a designer. Just teach a child to ask why.
