Good design always creates its very own demand; imagine sugar being invented for the first time as a hypothetical example of a new design being created; before the conception of sugar, you would not demand sugar; it is hard to demand something if you did not know about its existence, but once it is out there, if it is good, it creates its own demand; people say; whoa, I tried this new thing called sugar, and it was sweet... good design creates its own demand through word of mouth, as well as by continued and repeat consumption by people who tasted how sweet it felt.
