Good designers are able to fix their mistakes and redo and improve their work because for their love of design comes before their ego. Being a good designer is about accepting your imperfection, meanwhile maintaining a healthy ego that allow you to express yourself without reservation, yet also having the skill and willpower to silence and overcome your ego when the time is right, to admit your mistakes and to improve your work. Good design is about realizing opportunities in mistakes; taking steps to derive value from randomness.
