Onur Cobanli explains:
If you are a designer, introspection and the ability to criticize your very own work is essential for your success; that's because most of the time you work alone, you need someone to tell what is wrong with your design; there is always something wrong with your design, best case scenario you would have someone have a look at it, but if you could develop the skill to criticize and objectively look at your own design then you would have an opportunity at on the go, instant feedback, with every small iteration, you can see what is wrong, fix it, reiterate, and thus arrive at a really great design in a shorter time. It is great to have the skill to look with analyzing eyes, it is even a greater skill to use your analyzing eyes on your own work. Work on criticizing your work, but keep it healthy; you are doing great.
