The whole purpose of design is to make people happy, without design, you would be running without your clothes in the forest trying to escape from a predator, most likely your loved ones would die young from preventable illnesses and your children may be eaten in front of your eyes. We are humans, our greatest strength is not our muscles or tiny claws that we call nails; our greatest strength is our minds, our greatest strength is our capacity to affect our environment with our designs, you cannot live any life without design, let alone good life. Design is essential for our survival and good design ensures a good life; better housing, better rules, better tools make your life great.
