For me this is so true, and I strongly feel it is also true for any other designer; when you design for yourself, especially if you had developed introspection, you start with answers; you have perfect observation; you perfectly know what the client desires, what the consumer wants, you are almost omniscient, and that is helpful, the second thing is that you are motivated, you are energetic, you are enthusiastic, you are happy, which is even more helpful, and finally you know your constraints and restrictions well, you are in a good position to start your design, to develop it and realize it. Perhaps you can then apply these to your other projects; observe well, be enthusiastic and be diligent.
