When you are a designer, regardless by education or by skills blessed to you by birth, you constantly see what is wrong with things. For ordinary people who do not know they are natural born designers, this is like a curse; they complain a lot, because they see a lot. Most people do not like people who complain. For designers, this is both a curse and a blessing, a blessing because they can use this skill to observe and understand what is wrong with things and to make them better, a curse because there are simply too many things wrong with everything and too little time to fix them.
