To come up with good design you need inspiration, creativity and some good skills, but great design is different; you need to be truly obsessed; you need to think every single little detail like a crazy maniac; you need to make everything work perfectly; you need not stop when your design is good enough for people; as it is never good enough for you; great design is an obsession, and you should better stop at some point because there is always a possibility to make a design better and better and better, at some point, there will be diminishing returns; but does it matter? You are obsessed, you aim for uttermost excellence, and some of you will achieve it. It is easy to make good design but exceptionally hard to have a great design, when you have it, it is absolutely worth it.
