Designers love their jobs more than anyone else, and therefore prioritize practicing their profession more than anything else, including money which could sometimes lead to issues, thus for a designer to be happy and successful, money is indeed required; money allows a designer to design freely, to realize products or the craziest ideas, but to have money a designer must know business, finance and marketing.
