I am adding descriptions to some older quotes that I had written early 2000s in 2021 and when I read some of my quotes, I say, this is so true; this is one of them. For me design is a function of time, imagination and wisdom means design has three main requisites; you need wisdom (the information), imagination (the ability to process information) and the time (to process the information). You need time because you will want to iterate and refine to make your design better, you will also need time because you can create creativity and you can forge inspiration over time, which you will need when making a good design. You need wisdom; information, science, knowhow and research so that you know what you can do and then you will need imagination to use your wisdom, your experience and turn it into some new design.
