Good observation is what it matters when it comes to good design, if you can try to see what bothers people what bothers you, that’s what you can fix and when you fix things that bother people they become happy, then if you could observe a bit more to see what makes people happy and embed these stuff in your work, you make a really good design, it does not bother and it makes you happy, what else do you need.
