Onur Cobanliexplains:
First of all, good designs have smaller footprints meaning they have a less of a negative impact on ecology and environment, then it also means they make use of less resources to create big results. From another perspective you may argue that it is better to design something that is simple and easy to understand - small, rather than something that is complicated and difficult to use - big; that is specialization matters.
