It is true. Designers love their creations as moms love their newborns. That is why perhaps what I call as Bias of New Creation exists; it is the tendency of designers to prefer their latest creations - i.e. the smallest babies to previous creations, well because the newer the idea, the cuter it looks. Furthermore, this also explains why designers cannot fairly evaluate their ideas; they are simply in love with creations that is born of desire and love, and thus it is hard to judge such emotional artifacts with pure logic.
