Inclusiveness and openness are complementary to each other. Inclusiveness allows us to more easily embrace perspectives from different cultural backgrounds and maintain curiosity about new things, which broadens our horizons and opens our minds. In other words, it is because of inclusiveness that we become open. For a designer to create meaningful works, they must remain sensitive to the changes in society, life, and the times. Without this sensitivity, one risks becoming narrow-minded and disconnected from broader cultural and societal shifts, making it difficult to create works that truly resonate.
