Ariel Palanzone explains:
When I state that "reality is not solid," I am inviting a shift in how we perceive the material world around us. In the traditional sense, we tend to look at objects as static, finished, and permanent entities. However, my design philosophy is rooted in the belief that everything is in a constant state of flux. I understand objects not as final destinations, but as temporary states—specific moments where a continuous movement pauses for a brief interval, but never truly stops. In this context, form is not a "final answer" or a closed conclusion to a creative problem. Instead, I see form as a "trace"—a physical evidence or a visual echo of a dynamic process. Just as a photograph of a long exposure captures the path of light, an object should capture the energy and the intent of its creation. It is the manifestation of what has been in motion, whether that motion is physical, conceptual, or emotional. My creative process is guided by sensitivity, intuition, and deep observation. I believe that within matter, there is a "poetic soul" waiting to be discovered. This soul is not found in rigid geometry or industrial coldness, but in the organic flow that connects human experience with the natural world. Therefore, my work seeks to redefine the relationship between the user and the object. Design, for me, transcends pure functionality. While an object must serve its purpose, its true value lies in its 'presence' and its ability to evoke 'emotion'. A piece of design should not just occupy space; it should transform it. It should feel alive, as if it is in a state of "becoming"—a bridge between the past motion that shaped it and the future experiences it will inspire. By embracing this fluid perspective, we move away from the obsession with the "static" and begin to appreciate the beauty of the ephemeral and the eternal dance of matter and energy.
